    Part of the Global Network Architecture team which is responsible for designing and automating the future Software Defined Agile Network.

Senior High Performance Compute and Network Automation Engineer ADP 7/12 to 1/15

    Lead designer and programmer of a fully automated way to deploy configs and operating systems to all switches across the network. Built a front end web gui to build the configs and register the devices in IPAM. Built a fully automated ZTP/ZTR environment for Arista switches to load a python boot file which would determine the config and EOS version to download and install on the switches.
    Desinged and built a highly scalable and agile, tap and span environement using Arista DANZ, passive taps, and NetScout Infinistream devices. Also included an additional specialized infrastructure for Voice and Video analytics using NetScout NVVM.
    Working on an SDN framework to leverage the automation tasks completed on the switches to also include the virtullization and provisioning of server instances and storage.
    Part of the Global Network Services Architecture team which is responsible for all network architecture driven projects. Reviewed overall network topology and provided solutions for several key areas of the network which required immediate remediation.

Senior Market Data Engineer Merrill Lynch / Bank of America 10/06 to 7/12

    Lead Engineer WOMBAT MAMA /29West LBM Low Latency Ticker Plant in the US. Specializing in US Equities (NYSE, ARCA, INET, NASDAQ, BATS, Direct Edge), and OPTIONS FUTURES (OPRA, CME, CBOT, NYMEX, ICE) data.
    Interface to the business development group to provide assistance on data interpretation to support regulations, as well as provide additional details of market data products that are available.
    Designed and Implemented a new low latency colo plant at 2 redundant sites consisting of over 200 LINUX AS5.6 servers using 10Gig Mellanox Cards to the Servers and Arista Switches. Servers utilized XCAT infrastructure to have a consistent build across all servers and the ability to easily upgrade and manage drift.
    Designed a next generation Low Latency Market Data Plant utilizing 10 Gig RDMA_oE (OFED) and the use of VERBS to deliver Multicast using kernel bypass.
    Bridged LBM environment into Desktop Applications using WOMBAT MiddleWare (WMW) and REUTERS SSL RMDS Infrastructure.
    Worked on the deployment of the TMX CDF feed to offer additional liquidity from the Canadian Exchanges via the CDF including CHIX, ALPHA, PURE, TSX, TSX Venture and SELECT.
    Designed Monitoring / Capacity Management Infrastructure including SAR, CEP (CORAL8), TIBCO HAWK and various open source tools: (RRDTOOL, R Statistics, PERL CGI) Implemented Network Monitoring Tools including NetScout and IPSLA, and various PERL SNMP tools to detect Multicast microbursts and packet drops.

Xerox Sales Representative 11/02 to 11/03

Generated new business by spearheading the use of Xerox low end color printers located in client offices to automatically email the Xerox sales reps when supplies were low.     Managed and supervised a team of technology professionals responsible for all technology projects and critical research and development initiatives for Xceedium, a product development and managed service provider company. Dual report to the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operational Officer. Position was 80% hands on and 20% management.
    Designed and built a network resource monitoring and trending tool. The product was ranked in the top 10% of new products at COMDEX Las Vegas 2001 in the category "Best New Service Offering"

Merrill Lynch, New York, NY Vice President Internet Support Services 6/00 to 7/01

    Directed, and grew technical side of Internet solutions for Merrill Lynch. Designed reference and framework architectures and oversaw implementation of core security for client and vendor access. Established and managed Vendor Management contracts. Position was 70% hands on and 30% management.
    Managed a group of 15 UNIX Systems administrators, which consisted of 10 full time employees and 5 consultants. Their specialties included system security and Internet system infrastructure. The group was responsible for system architecture along with network architecture, integration, testing, change control and production support.
